About Elevate

Elevate is designed to fill the leadership void in Calgary’s local tech sector by empowering immigrant tech pioneers. Our goal is to bring experienced and high-performing leaders to Calgary’s startups and scale-ups. By nurturing immigrant tech leaders and cultivating Canadian leadership proficiency and cultural acumen, we aim to foster success in Calgary's dynamic tech ecosystem, for both leaders and the community.

We encourage you to join if you’re someone who has experience working in technology or business leadership roles in any industry.

To be eligible, you need to be:

An immigrant in Canada
Currently based in Calgary, Alberta
Hold 5+ years of leadership experience outside of Canada

6 weeks of leadership, intercultural,
and technology training

Cohort-based with 20 leadership professionals with diverse background

Weekly in-person workshops for 6 weeks

Comprehensive online curriculum

Continued support after completion of the program

Mixer events with startup companies
